Siddharth Mayya
Siddharth Mayya is a robotics and automation engineer, with diverse experiences in biophysics inspired swarm robotics, reinforcement learning for robot control, as well as warehouse automation. He holds a PhD in robotics from Georgia Tech, where he helped build the Robotarium—an open-access swarm robotics testbed. This was followed by postdoctoral research at the GRASP Lab at UPenn, focusing on enhancing resilience to failures in teams of coordinating robots. Prior to joining Aquatic Labs, Siddharth was an Applied Scientist at Amazon Robotics where he developed highly-scalable planning algorithms and architectures for robotic manipulation systems. At Aquatic Labs, Siddharth is building the software infrastructure and data-science tools to enable the deployment of sensor networks in the ocean, transforming raw measurements into actionable scientific insights.
Outside of engineering, Siddharth enjoys wildlife watching, long bike rides, and exploring the coastlines of New England.
