Dan Travis

Dan is a versatile Electrical Engineer experienced in managing projects from the design phase to delivery and implementation. He graduated from UMass Amherst studying Computer Systems but found a love for Electrical Engineering while working in the M5 Makerspace on campus. He has worked at multiple start-ups, developing products in the RF and Photonics spaces, and was eager to test the depths of his abilities working in a new and exciting environment: the ocean. Dan loves to get in the lab and get his hands on whatever needs doing, and often things that don’t need doing. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on bike rides, reading books, and failing to learn to play the piano.
